Canada’s Attorney General to have Special Call to Ontario bar

Canada’s Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada Jody Wilson-Raybould will receive a special call to the Ontario Bar on June 15th in Ottawa.
Raybould was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2000 where she previously served as a provincial Crown prosecutor.
The Special Call will take place during ceremonies held across the province this month to admit Ontario’s newest lawyers to the profession.
Raybould was appointed to the office of Attorney General by Justin Trudeau last November and is the first indigenous person in Canadian history to hold the position.
