Six Nations Police are warning community members not to give personal financial information over the phone after a number of telephone scams were reported.
Police said the suspect caller speaks with an accent and claims to be from Revenue Canada and tells victims they owe unpaid taxes and attempts to collect money through Western Union, debit card or bank transfer.
Police warn anyone receiving calls like this not to give personal or financial information over the phone and notify police.
