First all women’s Box Lacrosse Haudenosaunee National team coming

Darrel Squire will serve as head coach for the first all Haudenosaunee box lacrosse team to play for the National Women’s Sr. Box Lacrosse Tournament.
The tournament will be held in Calgary July 18 to 24. Squire called the opportunity an honour.
Squire said the team will be similar to the Iroquois Nationals but for women and that there will be several provincial teams competing for a national title.
Squire said the appointment has given him a new spark and that he looks forward to coaching a team who will play old time, two way lacrosse.
Try-outs for the team start May 8th.
