Getting checked for colon cancer can save your life
00
March is Colon Cancer Awareness month and doctors at Gane: Yohs announced they are providing free colon cancer screening kits at the clinic in Ohsweken.
Doctors for Cancer Care Ontario said discreet at-home screening allows you to stay a step ahead of the game and find cancer early, making it easier to treat.
Colon cancer screening is recommended for all adults over 50, both male and female.
Screening kits are available without a requisition from the lab at Gané Yohs in Ohsweken.
Your family doctor will receive the results.
