HEEBZ THE EARTHCHILD

Heebz The Earthchild (Travis Adrian Hebert) is of Cree/Metis descent and resides on Wet’suwet’en Territory in Telkwa, British Columbia. His family is originally from the Northern plains. His Mothers roots are in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan and his Fathers roots are in Slave Lake, Alberta. He focuses his time on his family, music, art, and works as an Education Assistant at iCount High School in Moricetown, British Columbia. Heebz is an Emcee/Producer for Mob Bounce. He links his lyrical content to Spirituality, Culture, Indigenous issues and Personal Healing. His goals and dreams with Mob Bounce are to provide music that creates social change and offers Medicine and Healing for All Nations and Generations on Mother Earth.

THE NORTHWEST KID

The Northwest Kid (Craig Frank Edes) is mainly of Gitxsan Heritage, from the Northwest Interior of British Columbia. The young man comes from a linage of two full-blooded Gitxsan grandmothers who were of Wolf and Frog clan ancestry. Being born of a Frog Clan, Gitxsan womb makes The Northwest Kid Frog clan. NWK studied in both, Acting for Stage & Screen at Capilano University, and Aboriginal Focus Oriented Therapy and Complex Trauma at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. He’s been an active poet/emcee since late 2010, and continues to focus his intent on raising awareness around social issues, and decolonization.
