Unique Foods Canada brought a donation of 30,000 bottles of ‘Activate Vitamin Drinks’ water to Six Nations of the Grand River yesterday.
The donation was a part of the company’s corporate social responsibility program and the businesses 20th anniversary.
Representatives for Unique Foods said they used the opportunity to raise awareness across social media on the issues surrounding drinking water in First Nations communities.
A similar donation is also being made at the Shoal Lake First Nation in northern Ontario.
