High speed chase ends in two arrests
Six Nations Police were involved in a high speed chase through the territory early Wednesday morning.
A grey Chevy Silverado truck was seen speeding through the intersection of Mohawk Road and Third Line without stopping by a Six Nations Police Officer just after midnight.
The truck would not stop for police. Police used a spike belt to halt the truck.
The driver and a second occupant exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
The driver, Brady Frank Longboat was caught and arrested. Longboat is facing several charges including theft and dangerous driving. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
The second occupant, Sonny Longboat, also fled on foot and was tracked by the OPP Canine Unit. He was arrested and charged with theft. Longboat was released on a promise to appear.
