Indigenous leaders inspire on International Women’s Day

Several national indigenous leaders shared their thoughts yesterday on International Women’s Day.
President of the Native Women’s Association of Canada, Dawn Lovell-Harvard said “Indigenous women are the epitome of strength and resilience.
Harvard said indigenous women are leaders, life givers, caregivers, healers, decision-makers, and the very heartbeat and lifeblood of indigenous communities.
Harvard said Without indigenous women, there would be no indigenous community at all.
