Major road work to begin Monday in village of Ohsweken

Six Nations Elected Council, Public Works, and First Nations Engineering Services announced major construction begins today at the intersection of Chiefswood Road and Fourth Line in Ohsweken.
Infrastructure upgrades will include the replacement of the watermain, and widening Chiefswood Road to create a left-hand turning lane.
Throughout construction traffic in Ohsweken will be limited to one lane.
The project will also include replacement of traffic lights, installation of pedestrian hand signals, and a cross-walk.
Construction will run from 7am to 7pm, Monday through Friday. The project is expected to be complete in October of this year.
