Road construction in Ohsweken will have increased interruption for locals
00
Road construction in the village of Ohsweken is scheduled to disrupt water service and temporarily close driveways in the village this week.
Six Nations Elected Council said they are working with First Nations Engineering Services to visit each affected business and home to provide notice and details of the expected disruptions.
A temporary four way stop has been installed and the traffic lights removed at the intersection of Fourth Line and Chiefswood Road.
Drivers are reminded to slow down and be mindful of pedestrians in the area.
Anticipated completion of the road widening in Ohsweken is set for this October.
