Six Nations Police are looking for help from the public after a woman was robbed in Ohsweken.
Police say at around 1pm on Sunday elderly woman was robbed at the back of Iroquois Plaza on Chiefswood Road. The suspect is described as a male in his late 20’s with a slender build, and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a grey hooded sweater, wearing a medical mask, and a red t-shirt. He was seen in a maroon four door Chevy Impala.
The male stole the woman’s purse containing about $20.00 in change along with her identification.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

OPP recovered the body of a Hamilton man who went missing after boating on the Grand River Wednesday evening.
24-year-old Nagim MOHAMED of Hamilton set out on the river from Chiefswood Park. He reported missing after his watercraft was found unattended approximately 3 kilometres east of the park at 7:50 p.m..He was not wearing a lifejacket.
OPPs Under Water Search and Recovery Unity recovered Mohamed’s body on Thursday.
An autospy is scheduled to determine the cause of his death.

Brantford Police are investigating the discovery of human remains just off Glenwood Drive.
The discovery was made Wednesday in a wooded area behind a condominium complex in the area. An autopsy has been scheduled to gather more information. No further details have been released by police.

Six Nations of the Grand River has issued a new community survey to gather member feedback on how they have weathered the pandemic.
The survey is also looking to gather stories from community members about their experiences in Stage 2 of the community’s Recovery Response.
Members who wish to participate can complete the online survey at https://www.sixnationscovid19.ca/volunteer/survey-2  until August 10.
Hard copies were also distributed to community mailboxes. Those hard copies can be returned to the Central Administration building until August 10.
