Winter storm headed this way
00
A winter storm warning has been issued for most of Southern Ontario including Six Nations, New Credit and the surrounding area.
Heavy snow is expected to begin at noon on Tuesday and intensify into the evening.
Two to five centimeteres of snow is expected to fall during the day with an additional 10 to 20 centimeters throughout Tuesday night.
There is potential for freezing rain to develop in areas along the lakeshore.
Strong northeasterly winds with gusts up to 70 km will also create blowing snow making for hazardous driving conditions — so be sure to exercise caution on the roads.
