Indigenous people must be on front lines in fight against climate change

Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day said First Nations in Ontario and Canada must be fully and completely involved in the world-wide battle against climate change.
Day was reacting to the official signing of the COP21 Paris Climate Treaty at the United Nations Friday.
Day said the Paris Climate Treaty must work with indigenous Inherent and Treaty Rights in protecting and preserving lands and waters.
Day said First Nations, and Indigenous Peoples around the world, are the first to suffer from global warming; and must be on the front lines to save our planet.
